CLAREMONT, Minn. (AP) ― A Claremont teenager is recovering after colliding with a state trooper in southeastern Minnesota.

The 16-year-old boy and the trooper collided Thursday morning in Dodge County. Roads were wet at the time.

The State Patrol says the boy was taken to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester with head injuries. He was in fair condition.

The patrol says the teen was not wearing a seat belt.
