Woman Critically Injured In Crash Dies

SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) ― A St. Paul woman who was critically injured in a crash in West St. Paul died of her injuries.

The accident happened at the intersection of Robert Street and Marie Avenue around 9:15 Saturday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Chevy Cavalier was broadsided by a Mercury Mystique.

Leslie J. Garcia, 26, was a passenger in the Cavalier. She was ejected from the vehicle and sustained injuries to her head. She died Sunday at Regions Hospital. 

Five other people suffered non-life threatening injuries, including an 8-year-old.
