Teen Shot In Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) ― A teenager was shot in Brooklyn Park, Minn. late Thursday night.

The shooting happened on the 8000 block of Hampshire Avenue North around 11:15 p.m. Police said a group of people was at the home when the shooting happened.

The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police describe his injures as not life threatening.

Police did arrest one person at the scene and arrested a second person later.  Police are still searching for a third suspect.
