Starting this week, law enforcement agencies in Minnesota will be cracking down on motorists who don't wear their seat belts.
It's part of a "Click It or Ticket" enforcement effort throughout the Midwest and the nation.
Law agencies will focus on those who aren't buckling up -- both day and night.
The crackdown will feature extensive seat belt enforcement during nighttime hours, when authorities say many motorists killed in crashes are unbuckled.
"Click It or Ticket" extends through the Memorial Day holiday and wraps up May 31.

The Minnesota State Patrol has 810 total personnel, of which 522 are uniformed and 288 are civilian.
