Teen Charged With Making School Threat

BLACKDUCK, Minn. (AP) ― A 16-year-old boy Blackduck boy has been charged with sending an e-mail that included threats to a high school.

The teen was arraigned Friday in juvenile court on a felony charge of making a terroristic threat.

The alleged threat led school officials at Blackduck Secondary School to lock down the campus for about an hour Thursday morning.

Superintendent Robert Doetsch wouldn't go into detail about the nature of the threat but said officials take any threat very seriously.

He says the school was searched and nothing was found.

A deputy searched the teen's locker and found no items that were considered dangerous.
