Man Rescued From Red River Dies From Injuries

FARGO, N.D. (AP) ― A man rescued from the Red River after accidentally falling last week has died.

The Forum newspaper reported Friday that 29-year-old Lucas Littleghost of West Fargo, also known as Lucas Whiteshield, died Tuesday night at a Fargo hospital.

Authorities say Littleghost was walking along the bridge on Nov. 20 with his brother and a friend when he fell. An 18-year-old student at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Josie Green, was jogging along a bike patch when she heard the calls for help. She jumped in the river and pulled him out.
