Randy Foye To Represent Wolves In Outreach Program

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ― Some of the Minnesota Timberwolves will be teaching their game to another part of the world this summer.

Point guard Randy Foye, assistant coach Ed Pinckney and athletic trainer Gregg Farnam have been asked by the NBA to participate in this year's Basketball Without Borders program.

Foye and Pinckney will go to Turkey in June, and Farnam will go to India in July.

A total of 46 players, coaches and staff from around the league will promote the sport and encourage improvement in education and health in local communities in Turkey, India and South Africa. They'll also work with young players in those countries.

Former Wolves coach Dwane Casey will also be with the group in Turkey.
