Police Continue Search For Missing Winona Teens

WINONA, Minn. (WCCO) ― Police continue to search for two missing Winona teenagers, who disappeared a week ago.

Tychelle Stoos and her boyfriend, Johann Van Deinse, both 16, were last heard from on Oct. 3. Both are Winona High School juniors.

Phone records indicate that the last time the teens' cell phones were used was around 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 3 in Chicago. The phones have not been used since.

The Winona Police Department and the Winona County Sheriff's Department have been assisting with the search. The National Center for Exploited and Missing Children has also been notified.

A Facebook page called, "Bring Tychelle and Johann Home" was created by Stoos' mother, Tammi.

Stoos is described as 5-foot-1, 115 pounds with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Van Deinse is described as 5-foot-6, 140 pounds and Asian-American. They were thought to be driving a blue 1999 Pontiac Grand Am with white racing stripes.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either teen is asked to contact the Winona Police Department at (507) 457-6302. Tips may remain anonymous.
