At Least 6 Hurt In Pipestone Charter Bus Crash

PIPESTONE, Minn. (AP) ―

At least six people had to be taken to the hospital after a charter bus crash near Pipestone in southwestern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 23, south of Pipestone, around 4 p.m.

It says a truck was making a right turn when its trailer swung out. The bus, which had been following he truck and trailer, was trying to pass when the trailer and side of the bus collided.

Around 40 people were on the bus. The victims were taken to the Pipestone County Medical Center.

According the state patrol Web site, at least 4 people were taken the hospital in critical condition.
