The Minnesota State Patrol says a car hit and killed a pedestrian in Brooklyn Center Saturday night.
Authorities say the accident happened at Highway 252 and 66th Street at about 10 p.m. The car had changed lanes into the right-turn lane, which is where the pedestrian was standing.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office identifies the victim as 49-year-old Henrietta Lynn Battle.
