Pedestrian Hit By Car On Hiawatha Ave.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car on Hiawatha Avenue Wednesday morning.

The accident happened at the intersection with 46th Street in Minneapolis at about 6:30 a.m.

Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a car traveling southbound on Hiawatha.

Police officers were reconstructing the crash to investigate how the accident happened.

Authorities said the victim was taken to the hospital but survived the vehicle's impact.

Neither the driver nor the pedestrian have been identified.
