Woman Hit By Several Vehicles, Killed In Orono

ORONO, Minn. (WCCO) ― A female pedestrian is dead after being struck by multiple vehicles in Orono, Minn. according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash happened at about 8 p.m. Monday night at the intersection of Orono Orchard Road and Shoreline Drive, which is also known as Highway 15, west of the Twin Cities and near Lake Minnetonka.

The State Patrol and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office are investigating, but didn't know the cause of the accident or if all vehicles involved stopped.

As of Tuesday morning, none of the drivers had been arrested. It's not clear whether any charges will be filed.
