Judge Dismisses Former Northwest Pilot's Lawsuit

FARGO, N.D. (AP) ― A lawsuit filed by a former Northwest Airlines pilot that claimed some jetliners could be remotely detonated has been dismissed in Fargo.

Federal Judge Ralph Erickson dismissed the lawsuit filed by Field McConnell. The judge said this week McConnell had failed to serve the defendants with the lawsuit.

McConnell, who's from Glyndon, Minnesota, took early retirement. His lawsuit was filed last year.
