Vikes Fans Can Hop On Commuter Train To Game

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ― Metro Transit in the Twin Cities is adding a special-event train on its Northstar commuter rail route to take home Vikings fans after the game against the Chicago Bears.

The train will leave the nearby Target Field Station at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday. Riders can hop on the light rail line to get across downtown Minneapolis to the Metrodome.

The kickoff time of the game is 3:15 p.m. Train riders on the route between Big Lake and Minneapolis should also be able to ride the train to the game, with a train scheduled to arrive at Target Field at 1:45 p.m.
