Thief Takes Musical Instruments From Glencoe Store

GLENCOE, Minn. (AP) ― It appears that a thief in the Glencoe, Minn. area is looking to get a band together.

McLeod County authorities are investigating the theft of more than $30,000 worth of musical instruments from a Glencoe music store.

Hometown Music reported numerous flutes, clarinets, saxophones and trumpets that all told approached nearly $33,000 in value were taken from the shop on Jan. 24.

McLeod County Sheriff Scott Rehmann said a sign store and a used car dealership also were burglarized around the same time. No arrests have been made.
