River Discovery: Crumpled Car With Body Inside

(WCCO) A crumpled car with a body inside was found at the bottom of the Mississippi River in St. Paul.

Every year, crews clean the river bed just off Harriet Island in St. Paul.

While dredging the bottom this morning, they stumbled upon a white car.

When investigators brought it to the surface, they discovered a body inside this crumpled wreck.

At this point, police don't know how long the car was underwater or how the person died.
