A Minnetonka family was displaced from their home after a fire broke out early Thursday morning.
The fire started at March Circle just after midnight. Crews said it appears that the cause of the fire was electrical.
The outside of the home wasn't severely damaged, but firefighters inside had to pull down the ceiling from the second floor to get to the fire, causing interior damage.
Two adults and two children lived inside the house. The American Red Cross is assisting them.
Fire crews from Hopkins and Plymouth assisted Minnetonka crews.
