Minneapolis Firefighter Hurt Battling House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― A Minneapolis firefighter is recovering Wednesday morning after being hurt fighting a house fire Tuesday night.

She was among several firefighters battling a fire at a home on 15th Avenue south in Minneapolis, near Lake Street.

Some debris fell on her as she was coming out of the home. She was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be alright.

Crews are trying to figure out how the fire started. No one was home at the time.
