Man Seriously Hurt After Fall Into Red River

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) ― A 29-year-old man who was pulled from the Red River after falling from a railroad bridge in Moorhead is in critical condition at a local hospital.

KFGO-AM reports that Lucas Littleghost, also known as Lucas Whiteshield, was walking along the bridge on Friday with his brother and a friend when he fell.

An 18-year-old student at Minnesota State, Josie Green, was jogging along a bike patch when she heard the calls for help. She jumped in the river and pulled him out.

Littleghost is at MeritCare hospital in Fargo, N.D.
