Actress Loni Anderson is the latest Minnesota-born celebrity to be honored with a star on Minnesota Proud's "Walk of Fame."
Anderson, who's a St. Paul native, will be honored tonight at "An Evening With Loni Anderson" at the St. Paul Hotel.
Anderson appeared on the TV sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati." She'll eventually be honored with a plaque embedded in the Hennepin Avenue sidewalk in downtown Minneapolis.
Actresses Marion Ross of TV's "Happy Days" and Tippi Hedren of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds' were the first two honorees.
The project is sponsored by Hennepin Theatre Trust.
