The twin sisters who played Carrie in the "Little House on the Prairie" TV series are now 38 years old, but that didn't stop them from talking about their acting experiences in southwestern Minnesota recently.
Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush on Saturday visited Walnut Grove, which is the setting for the Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" book called "On the Banks of Plum Creek."
Victoria Bayer, a 10-year-old Minnesota girl, had invited the Greenbushes as part of an annual event based on the "Little House" books. Bayer, who played Carrie in last year's pageant, says it was exciting to have the twins come to the event.
Dozens of fans of the TV series participated in a question-and-answer discussion with the Greenbushes, followed by an autograph session. The pair split the role of Carrie in the 1970s show, sometimes shooting the same scene or different parts of the scene.
