Man Found Not Guilty In Little Canada Shooting

ST. PAUL (WCCO) ― A jury found a man not guilty of first- and second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of a Little Canada, Minn. man.

Shawn M. Williams, 25, was facing charges in the death of Timothy E. Williams, who was found shot to death last September.

Court documents alleged was shot after meeting Shawn Williams, Andre Davis and two other men in the parking lot of a Little Canada apartment complex.

Davis pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in February.

Following the verdict, Shawn Williams was ordered released from custody.

Timothy Williams' death was the first homicide in Little Canada since 2003.
