Man Dead After Lindstrom House Fire

A 28-year-old man is dead after a house fire in Lindstrom, Minn.
The Lakes Area Police Department was called Wednesday evening to a house where smoke was coming from the roof. When officers arrived, they found the house locked from the inside and broke open the front door. They found the remains of a fire in the kitchen and the body of a man near one of the bedrooms.
Authorities don't know what caused the man's death, but foul play is not suspected. The victim's name has not been released.
The Lindstrom Fire Department extinguished remaining embers and hot spots in the house.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating.

Lindstrom is about 30 miles northeast of the Twin Cities.
