Repairs Bring Lakeville Bridge Down To 1 Lane

LAKEVILLE, Minn. (AP) ― A warning for motorists in the Lakeville area -- the Dakota County Road 70 bridge will be restricted to one lane during the Tuesday evening rush hour while crews repair the bridge deck.

MnDOT spokesman Kent Barnard says crews are repairing a large, damaged area that resembles a huge pothole in the deck.

The westbound lane of the two-lane bridge is shut down for repairs, which began at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Barnard says repairs should be finished around 9 p.m.

The bridge is over Interstate 35 in the southern Twin Cities.
