Minnesota's (Beer) Tribute To Anglers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― As a toast to Minnesota's fishermen, Schell's Brewery brewed up a new beer aimed at anglers.

It's called "Lakemaid Beer" and according to Schell's, it's inspired by freshwater mermaids that two anglers claim inhabit Minnesota's lakes and rivers.

Schell's teamed up with Rapala and they debuted the beer at the Loon Café Thursday. The beer will be available in liquor stores across the state starting this week.

Schell's Brewery is located in New Ulm, Minn.
