Driver's Heart Attack Stops Wedding Party Limo

LONG PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) ― A wedding party in Todd County in central Minnesota got a scare when their limousine driver had a fatal heart attack while they were in the back.

The Todd County sheriff's office says the wedding party was riding Friday afternoon on 220th Street near Highway 71 when something went wrong.

A bridesmaid realized what was happening and crawled forward through the divider and was able to get the limo to come to a stop.

Members of the wedding party performed CPR on the driver, Robert Brummer, until an ambulance arrived. Authorities say the Wadena man later died at Long Prairie Hospital.
