A Minneapolis-based Air Force unit getting ready to deploy to Iraq is getting a sendoff.
Governor Tim Pawlenty and other officials are expected at a deployment ceremony Monday for the 934th Airlift Wing.
The wing is known as the "Flying Vikings" and is equipped with eight cargo aircraft that resupply and support other military units.
The ceremony for the Iraq-bound unit will take place in a military hangar at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station.
