No Charges For Victim Who Stabbed, Killed Robber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― There will not be charges against a robbery victim who stabbed one of his attackers in Minneapolis, killing him.

Tim Jackson, 17, was stabbed once in the abdomen with a knife. He died later at the hospital.

Police said Jackson and a friend were trying to rob a man along the Greenway bike path near 28th Street and Hiawatha Avenue South.

The man pulled out a knife and stabbed Jackson. Prosecutors called the stabbing self-defense.

Prosecutors said another teen, Andre Whirlwind Horse, was with Jackson and admitted that the two planned to commit a robbery.

Whirlwind Horse has been charged.
