Girl Injured In Hugo Tornado Goes Home

ST. PAUL (WCCO) ― The young girl who lost her brother in the Hugo, Minn. tornado in May has gone home, after spending more than two months in the hospital.

According to Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul, Annika Prindle went home on Friday.

Annika had been blown from her house and found amid the debris in her backyard after the May 25 tornado. She wasn't breathing, and emergency workers revived her twice on the way to the hospital.

Annika's 2-year-old brother, Nathaniel, died in the tornado. Her parents, Christy and Jerry Prindle, had also been injured in the storm.
