A 7-year-old boy from northwestern Minnesota will likely survive being shot in the forehead.
Roseau County Sheriff Jule Hanson says the boy is Gavin Skime, of Skime.
Hanson says the boy's 14-year-old cousin was handling a 22-caliber rifle when it discharged. Adults were in another room at the time.
Hanson says the Tuesday morning shooting appears to be accidental. The boy was airlifted to MeritCare in Fargo, North Dakota.
