Haven't Gotten Your Flu Shot? Now Is The Time

ST. PAUL (AP) ― There's still time to get your flu shot.

A series of clinics will be held next week as part of Minnesota's Ban the Bug campaign.

Kristen Ehresmann, chief of the state Health Department's immunizations section, said it takes about two weeks to develop maximum protection after a flu shot, so people shouldn't delay.

She said those who get their shot during Ban the Bug week should be almost fully immune by the holidays.
