Fire Destroys Family Home In Hudson

(WCCO) A family lost their home overnight in Hudson, Wis.

Around 11 p.m. Thursday night a fire started in the family's garage and spread to the house located on Highlander Circle.

The family told firefighters that they heard a pop in the garage and when they checked it out the garage was on fire.

The fire spread to the house and it eventually caused the garage roof and the right side of the house to collapse.

Five people inside the home made it out safely.

The Red Cross has offered the family help.

Investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire.
