Man Killed In Head-On Crash In Eden Prairie

(WCCO) A man was killed in a two-car crash in Eden Prairie, Minn. Friday night, according to police.

The accident happened around 6:25 p.m. on Flying Cloud Dr. just south of Prairie Center Drive.

Eden Prairie police said the 47-year-old man who died was headed southbound and his vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and hit a car head on.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 42-year-old man, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for his injuries. There were also two young passengers in that car that only suffered minor injuries.

A city official said both drivers are from Eden Prairie.

Police have not released their names.
