Dover-Eyota Voters To Decide School Referendum

EYOTA, Minn. (AP) ― Voters in the Dover-Eyota School District go to the polls Tuesday to decide a $9.1 million referendum.

The project would add 12 new classrooms, two new music rooms, a gymnasium and expanded kitchen space to the district's elementary school.

The project has faced criticism because more than a third of the elementary students come from outside the district through open enrollment.

The towns of Dover and Eyota are east of Rochester in southeastern Minnesota.
