9 Crews Called To Put Out MN Ethanol Plant Fire

A fire that started Saturday morning at an ethanol plant in Atwater, Minn. needed the assistance of nine different fire departments before it was put out.
Crews were called just before 7 a.m. to the Bushmills Plant. The Willmar Fire Department said the fire started in external piping where natural gas and fuel are located.
Plant personnel and fire service were able to control the leak and crews were able to put out the fire by 8:45 a.m.
The only damage happened to the piping and did not impact any structures.
There were no injuries.
