Mondale Returns To WCCO-AM Monday

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ― Radio host Eleanor Mondale returns to the airwaves today on WCCO-AM.

Mondale underwent surgery in March to remove a brain tumor that had returned. The station says she is now undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Mondale is the daughter of former Vice President Walter Mondale. She co-hosts a weekday program with Susie Jones on WCCO from 9 a.m. to noon.

The station says Mondale will co-host the first hour of each show as she returns to the air, and will add more time to her on-air schedule as she continues her recovery.
