Minnesotans got a break from months of winter weather as temperatures soared into the 50s and 60s.
The National Weather Service says a few spots, including the Twin Cities, were only degrees away from setting record highs on Monday.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport peaked at 67 degrees. Other highs include 68 in Redwood Falls and Canby, 66 in Faribault and 65 in Olivia and Rush City.
Northern Minnesota wasn't quite so warm, but still got into the 50s.
Forecasters say the mild weather will continue for a couple of days, but it won't be quite as warm as Monday.
