Duluth Adding Heat To Some Bus Stops

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) ― The temperatures are already starting to fall, and the City of Duluth is trying to stay ahead of the curve.
  
The Duluth Transit Authority is upgrading seven bus stops in the city's downtown area with heated shelters. And it's not coming cheap.
  
The project costs $646,000, with most of the money coming in federal grants. With winter just a few months away, the additions will no doubt be welcome to those who use the bus stops on a regular basis. Overnight temperatures in the area are already starting to dip into the 40s, with daytime highs hovering in the low 70s.
