Teen Killed In Crash Near Devils Lake Identified

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) ― The Highway Patrol has identified a teenager killed when a car struck a median crossover on U.S. 2 and rolled just west of Devils Lake.

Authorities say 18-year-old Gabrielle Puente of East Grand Forks, Minn., was a passenger in the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Saturday afternoon.

The driver, 26-year-old Dustin Seidler of Bismarck, and the other passenger, 17-year-old Ashley Sass of Crookston, Minn., were taken to a Devils Lake hospital.

The patrol says the crash remains under investigation with charges pending.
