A Minneapolis weight-loss doctor is under investigation for allegedly using counterfeit casino chips at Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee.
The doctor, who had been practicing in Roseville, hasn't been charged.
According to a search warrant, investigators found out that two slot machines in the high-stakes slots area of the casino got jammed earlier this month.
The chips that were found jamming the machines were counterfeit.
An informant told an investigator with the state Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division that the Roseville doctor was making the counterfeit chips at her clinic.
According to a search warrant executed at the clinic, police found $100 chip copies and a coin printout among other things.
