Cops Suspect Stolen Antiques At Coon Rapids Home

(WCCO) Police found images from the Civil War era and other antiques on a search for stolen items at a home in Coon Rapids Monday.

Police said they found the stolen item listed in the search warrant and found many other items with price tags attached or that were still in boxes.

The man who lives there denied any of the items in his home were stolen.

Some things were labeled as coming from antique stores.

Police said they are waiting to confirm if any of the items were taken from those businesses.

Police said some of the items include pictures from the Civil War era, a copy of the Declaration of Independence in protective packaging, musical instruments, antique mantle clocks, Hpertherm plasma cutting system, computer systems, fishing lures, older comic books and sports cards, Star Wars items and collectible toy vehicles.

Police said none of those items have been seized from the home yet and none are confirmed as stolen.
