Christmas came early for one Minnesota family going through some very tough times.
A community came together to bring the Christmas spirit to a young father who might not make it to the holidays this year.
"I just think that one person can have an idea, but when the community comes together it turns into a miracle. That's what's happening today," said one neighbor.
In St. Michael, the true meaning of the holidays filled a front lawn.
"We're bringing a whole lot of love to some very wonderful people that we love very much," said another.
It was a Christmas surprise for a deserving family.
"I didn't know I could put that many people in the front yard," said Michael Talley.
Michael has neck, throat, ear, and head cancer, and four children under the age of 8. The family spent weeks getting ready for the holidays much earlier than most.
"That's why I started all of the decorating and all that; it's for them. I want this to be the best Christmas ever for them," Michael explained.
Doctors aren't sure how long Michael has left. His community collected toys for his children as part of the secret Santa mission.
"I am just shocked and amazed. I can't believe this has happened. It's so awesome," said Michael's wife, Nicole Talley.
Making memories with the help of a community who cares more than the Talleys may ever know.
"Just 'thank you,' everyone for being there for my family," Nicole added.
Michael was diagnosed a year ago. He's gone through chemotherapy and other operations, but the treatment hasn't worked.
