Minn. Authorities ID Mother, Son Killed In Crash

HARRIS, Minn. (AP) ― Authorities have identified the mother and son who died in a Chisago County traffic crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Roxann Vacek of Harris was driving early Friday when her vehicle collided with a semitrailer. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her 15-year-old son was also killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The State Patrol says Vacek was approaching an intersection when she apparently ran a stop sign and hit the passing truck.

The truck driver wasn't injured.

Chisago County is in east-central Minnesota.
