Bar Owner Cleared Of Genital Ripping Charges

(WCCO) The owner of a popular Brooklyn Park sports has been cleared of all charges that he assaulted a customer.

 A judge Thursday said the accuser couldn't prove that Thor Gunderson was the one that attacked him.

Gunderson was originally charged with third degree assault in an incident that happened last June at Blondie's bar.

An original report said the customer tried to cancel a food order and got into a dispute with the owner and bar staff, then he accused Gunderson of tearing loose one of his testicles.

The judge said the customer was badly hurt, but there is no proof Gunderson did it because the customer changed his story at times during the case.

The judge also found that the customer mistakenly thought a photograph of a bouncer -- also charged in the case -- was a photo of the owner.
