Classes Resume After Deadly Bus Crash

COTTONWOOD, Minn. (AP) ― Classes resume today at the Lakeview School, two days after a school bus crash killed four students near Cottonwood.

Grief counselors will again be on hand today for students who continue to need help.

An ecumenical service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lakeview School gym. School Superintendent Sheldon Johnson says the community is invited to attend.

Governor Pawlenty plans to attend and speak at tonight's service.

Two brothers, the daughter of a teacher and the son of a former teacher were killed in the crash. At least 14 other people were hurt.

The crash happened Tuesday when a van struck the bus, which then rolled over onto a pickup truck. The National Transportation Safety Board is joining the Minnesota State Patrol in the investigation.
