A Buddy Holly musical will keep rocking the History Theatre in downtown St. Paul for an extra two performances.
The 600-seat theater sold out its Friday and Saturday evening performances of "Buddy -- The Buddy Holly Story" last weekend. The theater is adding two performances to the final weekend of the run, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Nov. 1.
"Buddy" traces the rise of the 1950s rock 'n' roll singer from his roots in Texas to his death in an Iowa plane crash that also killed fellow musicians J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson and Ritchie Valens.
The show features many of Holly's hits, including "That'll Be the Day," "Oh, Boy!" and "Peggy Sue."
