The pace of construction should pick up as the weather grows warmer.

The project manager for the new Interstate 35W bridge says crews are rapidly casting segments of the new bridge.
Jon Chiglo told WCCO-AM that crews are working night shifts so they can pour concrete by day. He says the pace of construction should pick up as the weather grows warmer.
Chiglo says he's "very confident" that the bridge will be up by the target date of Christmas eve.
He says the best place to watch construction remains the 10th Avenue bridge.
