Boy, 6, Killed By Unsecured Trailer Ramp

BREEZY POINT, Minn. (WCCO) ― Authorities are investigating after 6-year-old boy was killed when an unsecured ramp on a trailer fell on him at his home just north of Brainerd, Minn.

According to authorities, the boy was found by his 8-year-old brother at about 9 a.m Sunday. He then called their mother.

Police arrived at the home in Breezy Point and found the boy's mother performing CPR on him. Paramedics were unable to revive him and he was declared dead.

The Breezy Point Police Department says it appears to be an accident.

The name of the boy has not been released.
