Theatre Pays Tribute To Bill Carlson

(WCCO) The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre will pay tribute to WCCO-TV's Bill Carlson Friday night.

Carlson passed away in February after a long battle with prostate cancer.

He worked for WCCO for more than 50 years and spent many of those years as an entertainment reporter.

Carlson was a huge supporter of the arts in the Twin Cities including the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

Tonight the theatre's artistic director will give a tribute to Bill at the opening of "42nd Street."

There will also be a dedication to him in the show's program and photos in the theatre's entrance.

Bill's wife, Nancy, and members of their family will also be attending the show.

Many of you have emailed in your memories and condolences to Bill's family.
