Wis. Man Sentenced For Karaoke Singer Attack

ELLSWORTH, Wis. (AP) ― A Roberts, Wis. man who was accused of beating another man, in part because of his karaoke singing, has been sentenced to 60 days in the Pierce County Jail.

Kyle Drinkwine, 24, was also placed on three years probation and ordered not to consume alcohol.

Police were called to a River Falls tavern Nov. 4 where two men were fighting outside. One man told officers he had been singing karaoke that night at another bar and Drinkwine criticized his singing ability. The man said the two argued and Drinkwine followed him to the other bar and attacked him.
